Approach

My approach to therapy is to help individuals and couples deepen their relationship to themselves, their partner, their families and communities through an attachment-based and nervous-system focused lens. When we explore what’s happening for us internally, our beliefs, and the unmet needs we carry, and when we can bring curiosity, care, and increased awareness to ourselves and others, then new possibilities open up. We find ways to relate to ourselves, others, and the world with more balance, ease, and belonging.

With practice and dedication we can develop the self-awareness to break our unhealthy patterns. To do so we must slow down, understand of our nervous system’s response to “threat” and how we self-regulate to co-regulate. In this process we rewrite what has been unconscious and insecure into a way of being that is conscious and secure in our relationship with ourselves and with others.

Going within is the only way out.”
