Approach

We live in a world that encourages us to ignore, override, and forget our experience. Therapy provides a space for deep self-inquiry where we can learn to become aware of all parts of ourselves. With curiosity and reflection, I want to support you to explore and understand your experience.

My approach to therapy is to help individuals and couples deepen their relationship to themselves, their partner(s), their families and communities through an attachment-based and nervous-system focused lens. When we explore what’s happening for us internally, our beliefs, and the unmet needs we carry, and when we can bring curiosity, care, and increased awareness to ourselves and others, then new possibilities open up. We find ways to relate to ourselves, others, and the world with more balance, ease, and belonging.

It takes work and dedication to develop self-awareness that breaks our unhealthy patterns and cycles. It calls for a slowing down, an understanding of our nervous system’s response to “threat” and how we self-regulate to co-regulate. Rewiring what is unconscious and insecure, to conscious and secure in our relationship with ourselves and with our partner(s).

Going within is the only way out.”
